I know I'm behind on my daily tasks here due to this infernally addictive board. How do you get anything done. What do you do anyway?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Ooooh, that's a sensitive question, as it appears this is all I do...or don't do.

I'm a financial analyst. I sit all day and read reports on companies. As you might imagine, the reports lean to the dry side, so I find frequent diversions between reads. The 500 or so daily emails get tiresome, too.

This is mental masturbation, meant to keep the mind fresh.

And yes, I spend way too much time here. Which is why I left for 2 years, and probably should leave again.

And for the record, I'm here from 7am to at least 5 - usually longer. And for a couple hours on Saturday. As you can imagine, when the insomnia kicks in, it can be a bitch of a day, reflected in the tenor of my posts on this here board.

You have convinced me that I must significantly curtail participation.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Wow. Now that's one job that I am just not cut out for. Please understand this is not a criticism of your work, it's just that I literally cannot do it. It's not a lack of intelligence it's just that I can't sit still long enough. Literally.

And yes, I spend way too much time here. Which is why I left for 2 years, and probably should leave again.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">That would be a shame. Who else besides Lew is there here who can actually come up with a decent argument?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Man, why don't you jump ship and start up an organic homestead somewhere? I can't imagine that immersing yourself in financial stats for years can possibly be good for your stress levels. You know cut the soles off your shoes, climb a tree and learn to play the flute. (attribution anyone?)
